I am fortunate to live at a vantage point overlooking the main North-South rail line along the U.S. east coast. I see CSX, Amtrak, and VRE trains at this location in Crystal City. I could easily post hundreds of duplicate photos daily. What I post are the more unusual sights that I can catch. Sometimes the photo opportunity passes by the time I can turn on the camera. For example, it took nearly 2 years and four "too-far/bad angle" or "obscured number" situations to finally get a clear photo of Amtrk #1.
I also overlook National Airport and occasionally obtain some unusual aircraft photos. Some photos contain both trains and planes.
